We were put in touch with Danny from a lady we got our previous staffie from. He had one boy left and we were looking for a boy so we arranged to go and see him, even though it was a 4-hour drive for us. The immediate thing that strikes you is as for having 2 adult staff’s and a litter of puppies there was no smell of dogs and the house was immaculate. Danny had obviously spent money on giving the pups the best start in life and it showed.we fell in love of course with the little man and named him DJ.until we picked him up Danny sent us daily videos and pictures which was absolutely lovely to watch him grow and develop. Danny has strong beliefs on raw food diet and all you need to know is in the folder of your puppy when you pick him up. Danny also gives you food and treats to take home as well. once you have your puppy Danny is still interested in how the pups are getting on, which is great. I have to say DJ has the most gentle temperament, knows all his commands and is totally house trained and has the most beautiful shiny coat, which again is down to the time Danny puts in with his dogs until they leave him.i would have no hesitation in recommending Danny and I hope in the future to get another one of Danny’s pups.

I found Danny (Kent staffs) advert on pets 4 homes. Here is a little about Danny as I believe knowing where your new puppy comes from is an important stage of the puppy adopting process.
From the very first message with Danny, he was welcoming and friendly. Through the messaging process, he is happy to answer any questions and is extremely compassionate. I lost my beloved dog Millie a few weeks beforehand. I must say I let it all out to him, I was grieving and I felt guilty for thinking of getting a new pup. Danny was so kind and reassuring and shared experiences. He made me feel a lot better. I wasn’t replacing my dog, that was never the intention. As a dog lover, I had to fill the emptiness, the void. I have not had a dog in my life. I do however have another dog that is more my partner’s dog, and even he felt lost.
Danny kept us all updated on the pregnancy, the Labour and how the pups were getting on via videos, photos and updates ( via Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp)
The care that goes into looking after mummy and pups is nothing I have ever seen before when looking for a new pup. Their care is astounding. It is so clear to see the passion Danny has for all his dogs. plenty of hugs, praise and investments, not to mention he rescued one of the pups lives, incredible!
On meeting Danny and the pups it is clear he has a loving home, this is key for the start of a puppy’s new life. His wife is friendly and he’s son is incredible, he was a hit with my daughter who is the same age as his son, 6 years old. I feel this is relevant as you have a much clearer picture as to what kind of home you are adopting a puppy from and it is a respectable, loving family home. I adopted Logan. When first meeting him I had so many cuddles. Danny gave me so much information and advice on absolutely anything, and everything. He was patient with my million and one questions (the top guy!) and he didn’t rush our time either. It was important for Danny knowing where his puppies are going. It was more about wanting a loving home for he’s pups than money for him. His passion for the staffy life is really obvious. We also met ruby (mummy) and Roxy (nana-she looked a lot like my Millie) they are incredible dogs. Both great around my 6-year-old and 1 year old.
Armed with a lot of knowledge and building a bond with Danny in particular and the pups, my partner decided logan would have a forever home with us. It’s a shame we couldn’t have them all! All top quality puppies. We even wanted mummy and Nana too!
Danny said “welcome to the staff family” yep, we were apart of something big. We have a WhatsApp group set up from this current litter. Sharing updates and support which is lovely. I nearly got a puppy elsewhere and all pups in one dog bed in what looked like a shed owned by money orientated breeders. So with Danny, I felt like his pups came from a luxurious lifestyle. They were clearly raised with precision and care and a lot of love since they left mum.
Lets fast forward, Logan is now 13 weeks, he is perfect, he is true to his puppy nature, he is cheeky, loves attention but he also loves to have a chill time. He has wise moments, he is so loving and i know he will grow to be big and strong. He and my 15-month-old son have quite the bond. Both babies growing up together, both learning-compassion, patience and limits. They clearly adore each other!
Even now the group is going strong with Danny and the other puppies owners. Even now Danny is still supportive and has a real interest in the puppies welfare.
I think I have covered the main points of all the important stages.
But if you take anything from my review, not only do you receive a top quality puppy that had the best start possible, you gain a friend, support, a group of strangers that you kind of just randomly talk to every day and send puppy pics. It kind of just happened I guess.
Kent staffs is a compassionate, empathetic, hilarious, dedicated knowledgeable, supportive, loyal, considerate and last but not least staffy mad breeder! Yep, forget 101 dalmations, Danny is on his way to 101 staffs-of all colours! If you go to anyone, go to him. Kent staffs set the bar high! I now believe breeders need a licence and to should follow Danny’s example.
So Danny thank you so much! For helping me heal a little and reassuring me. Millie will never be replaced as no dog can be but she opened my heart, and Logan has a massive part in now. We all love him, we have had so many compliments. You gave him the best start!

Ronni
Toni and John,
Owners of Ronni
My first contact with Danny was by telephone in answer to his advertisement when his bitch Roxy had just been mated. It was obvious from the outset that he was very passionate about his dogs and Staffordshire Bull Terriers in particular. Throughout Roxy’s pregnancy he kept us informed of progress and how many pups were expected. We had texts as soon as pups arrived and went to see them when they were only a few weeks old. They were kept in a spotlessly clean environment and we were able to see the pup we had chosen.
We were invited to visit whenever we wanted and he sent many texts and videos to keep us up updated on the pups progress. You could see they were cared for to a very high standard. We had lost our Staffy due to health problems and we were therefore concerned a replacement should have the best start in life. With Danny, there was no doubt this was the case.
When we collected our pup, now called Ronni, we were given a comprehensive file with advice and information on raw feeding and all other aspects of owning a dog. She was already microchipped with our details and arrangements were made for her vaccinations.
Since then Danny has been in constant touch and is always interested to hear of Ronni’s progress and I would never hesitate to recommend Danny’s pups to anyone. Maybe I am concerned that Danny cares too much but he takes great care in seeing that his pups go to good, loving homes so hopefully, he will never be let down. Ronni is the love of our lives!

CoCo
John Simpson,
Owners of CoCo
We brought our puppy Coco from Danny at Kent staffs earlier this year. Danny really is a man that loves his dogs and really knows everything about them. We recently lost our Staffy Missy to cancer and she is very sadly missed. Coco has brought so much joy to our lives and she is wonderful, joyous and very lively. She has settled in with our family very well. I would truly recommend Kent staffs. It’s very rare you see a breeder that truly cares so much about the wellbeing of his dogs he breeds.
Well done Danny and thank you so much. Good luck and we will be in touch soon when you have your next litter.
All the best John Simpson, Surrey.

Lola
Danny and Jenny, The Sweeney Family,
Owners of Lola.
Just to say a big thank you for our new puppy Lola. It was a complete pleasure dealing with you from the initial phone call to all the way through picking her up. Seeing the progress of all the pups was great with constant updates, photos and useful information. Meeting all your dogs was a pleasure and gave us a good feeling on how well you respect this breed and how lovely they are.
Thank you so much the loving owners of Lola.

Solo
Damien and Holly,
Owners of Solo.
I have known Danny and Kent Staffs for a number of years. When Roxy had a litter we were first on the list for one of her pups. We reserved a boy named Solo and collected him around 8 weeks old. As I mentioned I have known Danny for many years and his dogs and can safely say that I have not seen someone put so much effort into the way their dogs are kept, fed, exercised and bought up! Our boy Solo has grown up to be a massive part of the family. He is great natured and been a joy since day one. We would be lost without him. As I live so close to Danny I now enjoy taking all the family of dogs out for long walks with him during the week. If you want a well-bred family Staffordshire Bull Terrier go to Danny. His dogs cannot be beaten. We will be back for another pup in the future!
