I have known Danny and Kent Staffs for a number of years. When Roxy had a litter we was first on the list for one of her pups. We reserved

I found Danny (Kent staffs) advert on pets 4 homes. Here is a little about Danny as I believe knowing where your new puppy comes from is an important stage of the puppy adopting process.
From the very first message with Danny he was welcoming and friendly. Through the messaging process he was happy to answer any questions and was extremely compassionate. I lost my beloved dog millie a few weeks before hand. I must say I let it all out to him, I was grieving and I felt guilty for thinking of getting a new pup. Danny was so kind and reassuring and shared experiences. He made me feel alot better. I wasn’t replacing my dog, that was never the intention. As a dog lover I had to fill the emptiness, the void. I have never not had a dog in my life. I do however have another dog that is more my partners dog, and even he felt lost.
Danny kept us all updated on the pregnancy, the Labour and how the pups were getting on via videos, photos and updates (via facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp).
The care that goes into looking after mummy and pups is nothing I have ever seen before when looking for a new pup. Their care is astounding. It is so clear to see the passion danny has for all his dogs. Plenty of hugs, praise and investments, not to mention he rescued one of the pups lives, incredible!
On meeting Danny and the pups it is clear he has a loving home, this is key for the start of a puppys new life. His partner is friendly and his son is incredible, he was a hit with my daughter who is the same age as his son, 6 years old. I feel this is relevant as you have a much clearer picture as to what kind of home you are adopting a puppy from and it is a respectable, loving family home.
When first meeting Logan I had so many cuddles. Danny gave me so much information and advice on absolutely anything, and everything. He was patient with my million and one questions (top guy!) and he didn’t rush our time either. It was important for Danny knowing where his puppies were going. It was more about wanting a loving home for his pups than money for him. His passion for the Staffy life is really obvious. We also met Ruby (Mummy) and Roxy (Nana – she looked a lot like my Millie) they are incredible dogs. Both great around my 6 year old and 1 year old.
Armed with a lot of knowledge and building a bond with Danny in particular and the pups, my partner decided Logan would have a forever home with us. It’s a shame we couldn’t have them all! All top quality puppies. We even wanted Mummy and Nana too!
We have a Whats App group set up from this current litter. Sharing updates and support which is lovely. I nearly got a puppy elsewhere, all the pups were in one dog bed, in what looked like a shed, owned by money orientated breeders. So with Danny I felt like his pups came from a luxurious life style. They were clearly raised with precision and care and a lot of love since they left mum.
Lets fast forward, logan is now 13 weeks, he is perfect, he is true to his puppy nature, he is cheeky, loves attention but he also loves to have chill time. He has wise moments, he is so loving and I know he will grow to be big and strong. Logan and my 15 month old son have quite the bond. Both babies growing up together, both learning-compassion, patience and limits. They clearly adore each other!
Even now the group is going strong with Danny and the other puppies owners. Danny is still supportive and has a real interest in the puppies welfare.
I think I have covered the main points of all the important stages.
But if you take anything from my review, not only do you receive a top quality puppy that had the best start possible, you gain a friend, support, a group of strangers that you kind of just randomly talk to every day and send puppy pics.
Kent staffs is a compassionate, empathetic, hilarious, dedicated knowledgeable, supportive, loyal, considerate and last but not least staffy mad breeder! Yep, forget 101 dalmations, Danny is on his way to 101 staffys-of all colours! If you go to anyone, go to him. Kent staffs sets the bar high! I now believe breeders need a licence and to should follow Danny’s example.
So Danny thankyou so much! For helping me heal a little and reassuring me. Millie will never be replaced as no dog can be but she opened my heart, and logan has a massive part in now. We all love him, we have had so many compliments. You gave him the best start!
